A detached garage and residence restored to original brick condition, paired with a full interior kitchen rebuild.
This Kalorama property required careful masonry rehabilitation on a detached garage whose brick facade had deteriorated from decades of weather exposure. We matched historic mortar and brick coursing to the original assembly, then turned inward to rebuild the kitchen with a layout that respects the home’s historic proportions while introducing modern functionality. Every joint, lintel, and finish was selected to endure.
